Attractive, coloured and large map of constellation with depiction of bear and lion from the atlas by Bode "Uranographia sive astrorum descriptio", 1801.

"Bode's Uranographia, successor to the celestial atlases of Bayer, Hevelius, and Flamsteed, was the most extensive and the last great atlas of its kind. Consequently later atlases designed for popular astronomy were limited to naked-eye stars and particularly notable nebulas, while those designed for professional astronomer charted all known celestial objects, more rational boundaries, and hardly any constellation figures" (Warner).

Nice colouring. Background in blue and the little star symbols heigthened with gilt bronze.
